I’m Annette Door, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience offering in-person therapy in Weybridge and online across Surrey and the UK. I provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can work together to explore whatever is troubling you, at a pace that feels right for you. Counselling & Psychotherapy in a safe, comfortable and private setting
Making the first step to talk to someone about your life and the things that worry you may feel overwhelming and that is why I offer a very open, supportive, and non-judgemental space to help you feel safe enough to let me know what you need, and how I can help.
Although my training is influenced by existential, humanistic, and psychodynamic themes, I work from a pluralistic framework, which means I am able to adapt my approach to suit you as there is no single 'right' way to help someone.
Instead I will use my expertise to help you understand yourself and will adapt to fit around what works for you at any time. This may change as you learn more about your needs, and sometimes I will also include creative interventions such as Sand Tray therapy if it feels appropriate for you.
Anxiety, Depression & Trauma
I have experience of supporting people with depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma, bereavement, cultural and relationship issues.
Addiction, Autism & ADHD
I also have specialist experience and training for supporting those with various addictions including drugs, alcohol, food and internet use. Supporting people whose lived experience includes neurodiversity, including autism and ADHD, is a special interest of mine.

I work from private counselling rooms at Investment House, Unit 11, 28 Queens Road, Weybridge, KT13 9UT, and welcome clients from within Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Hersham and Addlestone and other nearby towns such as Shepperton, Esher, Cobham, and Staines.
Whether you are looking for counselling, psychotherapy or clinical supervision, I provide a warm, confidential space where you can explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace. Free parking is available for clients attending in person.
If you are unable to attend in person, or simply prefer the flexibility of remote sessions, I also offer online counselling and psychotherapy via Zoom.
Sessions & Fees
I work with adults and young people over the age of 16. Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place on a weekly basis, at least in the early stages. I offer a free phone call before your first session to discuss your needs and for you to ask any questions you may have. If appropriate, I will invite you to an appointment so that I can assess your needs further and between us we can decide the best way forward. My fee is currently £65 per session as I want therapy to be affordable to as many people as possible. I do have some limited reduced spaces for students and those with low income so please ask when enquiring.
Payment is due on or before the session date and I operate a 24 hour notice policy if you need to cancel, otherwise you will be charged the full session rate.
